Chalmsy is AI-native software, so you are entitled to a plain answer to three questions: what the AI actually is, what it touches, and what happens to the client lists and prices you put into it. This page is the whole answer, written to be checked rather than admired.
What it is

Chalmsy is built with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. That is a checkable fact rather than a slogan: Anthropic publishes its models, its API terms and its safety research publicly, so you can verify for yourself what Claude is and who stands behind it. Chalmsy reaches Claude through Anthropic's commercial API — the arrangement built for businesses, governed by commercial terms — not through a consumer chat product.
What it does
Four jobs, in the order your day runs.
- It reads the enquiry — the email or intake form that starts a job — so the details land in the booking instead of being retyped from the thread.
- It drafts in your voice — proposals, quotes and replies written with your own sent work as the reference for tone, and priced from your own rates, materials and multipliers. Never from a template's guess.
- It reads the receipt — photograph one and it becomes a categorised line in the ledger, feeding a live profit and loss.
- It keeps the record current — the client's history, the booking's paper trail and the follow-ups that would otherwise live in your head.
Two narrow jobs use other providers through the same kind of commercial API: voice notes are transcribed by OpenAI, and AI image generation — where you invoke it — uses Google. Every provider is listed in our Terms, and the Privacy Policy describes what each one receives.
What it does not do
The three commitments that matter.
Your business is not training material. Chalmsy does not use your content to train AI models, and does not sell it, rent it or share it with advertisers or data brokers — that sentence is in our Terms, not just on this page. Work sent to Claude travels through Anthropic's commercial API, and our principal AI providers, Anthropic and OpenAI, commit under those API terms that submissions are not used to train their models. Your proposals teach Chalmsy how you write; they do not teach anyone's model how to write.
Nothing reaches a client you haven't approved. Every draft — proposal, invoice, email — is held for a person to read, edit and send. Automated quote follow-ups go out only on a schedule you approved, and stop the moment a reply arrives or a human closes the thread. There is no autonomous sending in Chalmsy.
There are no prompts to write. You never operate the model. There is nothing to prompt and nothing to learn: you show it what you do, and it does the drafting how you do it. A number you enter by hand is a number it cannot "helpfully" adjust.
How the data itself is held — tenant isolation at the database, Google-only sign-in, no stored passwords, plain exports — is on the security page, gaps included.
Why it works on your business

Claude is a general model; Chalmsy is what makes it particular. The system around the model carries your prices, your recipes and markups, your past proposals and your brand, so what comes back is not "AI writing" — it is your writing, costed your way, on your letterhead. That shape was learned the honest way: Chalmsy was built inside a working floral and events studio and has run its real proposals, invoices and books every day since April 2026. Why say any of this
Most software says "AI-powered" and stops.
"AI-powered" tells you nothing you can verify. Naming the model and the company behind it tells you the calibre of the intelligence doing the drafting, whose terms govern it, and where to check both — independently of anything we say. When you are deciding whether to put your client list and your pricing into a piece of software, checkable beats impressive. That is the whole reason this page exists.
